Princess Jolene Goes to Hollywood

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING:

Hui's "Bookshelves" appears to be little more than a petty spat between lovers, triggered by a pan of burnt chicken. Yet a caring note left after an evening of vicious bickering hints that this otherwise disintegrating relationship is more solid than it appears. And to wager that there remains hope in characters otherwise ravaged by cruelty, loss and heartache is a very daring bet indeed.

There are a also a few wild cards, proving that love truly is a complex sentiment. In Parker's Mustache by Jolene Hui, the protagonist falls madly in lust with her brother-in-law's handlebar moustache... An evocative collection of sensual and tasty treats, A is for Amour is bound to get even the most miserable bastards in the mood for love.

jolene paints a fascinating portrait no matter what story she is writing- i see her change with her times and i see her reflect in the fantasies of her fans- she writes thought provoking and intriguing stories- she has an exotic appeal and in my own opinion is one step ahead of the reading and writing packs in popular culture-
      go buy her books-
